13th April 2023 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods Max Speed: Distance Covered: Thursday 13th April ? walk *** Around Felixstowe ? sunny periods. The cold symptoms continue for both Mag and I so windsurfing is given a miss for today but I felt well enough to do my exercises in the sunny back garden and well as making a yummy Shepards pie for when our son returns on Friday:) Then after lunch we felt we should make the most of the nice weather by going for a walk, down through Langer Park coming out at the end of the prom at the Manor end with some amazing clouds overhead being pushed along by the westerly breeze. With the wind offshore it was a nice day for families to spend a few hours on the beach. We ambled back doing a circuit of the pier before the long climb up Convulsant Hill, hard going for a couple of sick heads! PS - was pleased to get one of Mags lovely daffildils on ITV,s About Anglia, got to love Chris Page :) Photo Album here |
